I know when my paintings are hung on the wall, everyone who enters can see them--that's a given. But when you write, it's very hard for that light "to shine" unless someone is actually reading your words, words that are usually sandwiched between a cover, or trapped inside a computer, only to be lit when a curious mind inquires. <br /><br />Yes, writing is most thankless.
