Marsha's Tagee

by Liz Adair

Marsha tagged me, and since Saturday is guest/fill-in/tagged people day, I'm posting my response and tagging three more.

If I tagged you, remove the blog from the top, move all the blogs up one, and add yourself to the bottom. You have to copy and paste the whole thing into a Word document (or whatever) and use it as a template for your own version. (Marsha, you will probably have to go in and put the Blog name in the proper format.)

Here are my responses.

What were you doing ten years ago?
I was Director of Education for Sylvan Learning Center, a dream job that I was soon to leave to join my husband on a job site in the woods above North Bend, Washington, sleeping on an air mattress in a rented apartment we shared with two foremen and using an outdoor privy during the winter. It’s a move I have never regretted. Besides getting to work with my husband, I’ve gained new skills and have been involved in some interesting projects.

What were you doing one year ago?
Just what I’m doing now: keeping all the balls in the air. Grandkids, job, writing, exercise. Last year, though, our youngest son was home for most of the summer. This year he’s studying Arabic in Amman, Jordan. He has an NSEP scholarship to study in Cairo this school year, so I won’t see him until this time next year—unless we go to Cairo.

  1. Liz, I loved reading about you. I looked up your daughter's charity. What a joy it must be to witness such wonderful things happening in the world.
