Don't Stop Believing!

By Cade Wolfe

Can I just say how unbelievably excited I am to be here, writing on this blog?! Here, I'll just say it anyway:
I am so unbelievably excited to be here!
There, I said it!

Just as a short introduction:
Name: Clarissa Enos (Claire)/Cade Wolfe (pen name)
Age: Really young! Like 20 years young! Yes I know, I look pretty good for being 20 years young, don't you think?
Education: Graduated High School June of 2010, Currently attending Brigham Young University- Idaho. I'm majoring in English with an emphasis on Creative Writing and a minor (currently) in Psychology
Hobbies: Singing, Writing, Laughing, Dancing, Reading (not necessarily in that particular order!)

While I was trying to decide what to write about for my first post on this blog, I happened to be listening to Pandora Radio. I was looking through posts made my friends in Facebook, when the song "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey came on. This song carries a special place in my heart, not only because I need the reminder to not stop believing that I'll succeed in this wonderful world around us, but also because it was the song my graduating class of 2010 decided on for the Class Song. It was the song they played as we all threw our caps up in the air, officially high school graduates!

Of course, I think we all need reminders once in a while to not stop believing. Believe in God's power to teach us lessons that will lead us to a place in our lives where we'll meet the wonderful people who need our help, the people who will help us, and the situations where we can figure out our full potential! I know that up to this point, God has helped me a lot. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't have joined ANWA and met all the wonderful sisters who are in my group online. I would never have chosen to pursue my dreams of writing, or met my best friend who pushes me to be my very best in all I do: In school, in my writing, in life.

So, as a last note, I'd just love to say: "Keep writing, pursuing your goals, and believing in yourself! And hello to all you wonderful readers, I'm hoping I can be as inspiring and fun to read as all the other wonderful writers on this blog! Thanks for having me!"

  1. Great first post, Claire! Nice to see you. I have a candle holder on my table near my computer that has imprinted on it: "With God all things are possible."

    I'll keep writing.

    1. Thanks Debra! Definitely keep writing! Always! God led you (and me, and all the other sisters reading this blog and writing on it) to it for a reason.

    1. Thanks Valerie! (Yes, I love the name too. I picked it out as a nickname when I was 11 or 12 and started asking people to call me it, and it's just sort of stuck since then). Thanks again!

  3. Awesome post, Claire! Thanks for your enthusiasm and for reminding us to keep believing: in God, our Father; in His blessings to us; and in ourselves as His daughters who can do anything through Him.

    1. Thanks Marsha! I really think God told me what to write, I was just the vessel. But I'm so glad to have the opportunity to share my musings and feelings.

  9. So glad to have you aboard, Claire. Great post.

It's so nice of you to share the enthusiasm and wisdom of a young adult. Go you!

How fortunate you are to have found something you're so passionate about so early in life.

(BTW, my daughter starts at BYU-I this fall. Yay.)

    1. Thanks TKAstle!

I'm just lucky my family is full of writers, otherwise I might not have figured out what I wanted to do with my life!

(That's awesome! BYU-Idaho is amazing! I might have to meet up with her sometime, show her around if she doesn't have anyone else to show her around! I love it up there!)
