What do I write about today?

by Marsha Ward

Sometimes it feels like I have a giant jagged rock in my shoe and I'm obliged to limp through life. This is just such a week.

On the other hand, it's a very exciting week.

  • I wrote, edited, turned in, edited again, and saw published this week a novella in A Timeless Romance Anthology: Old West Collection
  • I finished a short story for the FIGHT CARD Publications franchise's charity anthology of ten short stories written by the best and brightest action writers in the field. It's being critiqued by fellow writers right now. (I hope the eventual paying customers will love it.)
  • I re-fashioned two book videos and posted them on my YouTube channel.

Soon I'll be back to work on Gone for a Soldier, my fifth novel in the critically acclaimed Owen Family Saga.

That's the plan, anyway, if I survive with my sanity intact from the weird things going on this week (like losing the cap to the gallon jug of water beside me inside of two minutes, misplacing an entire filebox of notecards, and not being able to find an exceedingly bright notebook covered in white, green, yellow and red smiley face flowers. That one was hard to imagine losing!). We won't even begin talking about the misspelled words due to my faulty keyboard. I lied, I guess. I began telling you about it. But that's enough.

Stick a fork in me. I'm done.
